DSDS continues its success story and wins primetime

DSDS remains a hit! The fifth episode of DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR generated top ratings on Saturday evening. The show featuring the jury of Dieter Bohlen, Bushido and Isi Glück once again thrilled the audience yesterday with a strong 12.1 percent market share in the 14-59 target group; DSDS was thus able to improve on the last two editions. Among 14-49 year olds, the show achieved a market share of 11.6 percent, which was also higher than the fourth episode.

DSDS took the lead among 14-59 year olds and won primetime among private broadcasters; the show won primetime among 14-49 year olds. A total of 1.61 million viewers aged 3 and over tuned in (MA: 8.1%), with up to 2.07 million viewers at peak times. Show 5 thus also increased in comparison to the two previous editions.

RTL was ahead of its competitors on Saturday with a daily market share of 9.6 percent among 14- to 59-year-olds and 10.5 percent among 14- to 49-year-olds.
