WHERE’S WANDA? Returns for a Second Season—New Episodes Starting October 21 on Apple TV

Heike Makatsch, Axel Stein, Lea Drinda, Leo Simon, and Nikeata Thompson are once again part of the main cast of the German-language series

Berlin, July 15, 2026. Apple TV presents the first images and the premiere date for the second season of the acclaimed German-language dark comedy series WHERE’S WANDA?. The eight-episode new season is produced by UFA Fiction. The cast once again includes International Emmy Award nominee Heike Makatsch (TATSÄCHLICH…LIEBE), German Comedy Award winner Axel Stein (CRIME GAME), multi-award-winning actress Lea Drinda (DER GREIF), Leo Simon, and Nikeata Thompson (SPÄTI). The second season will make its worldwide premiere with the first episode on Wednesday, October 21, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through December 9.

The Klatts (Axel Stein and Heike Makatsch) are back! Just as a semblance of normalcy is returning to their lives, their daughter Wanda (Lea Drinda) is supposedly caught red-handed standing over a dead body. To prove her innocence and keep from losing her again, the Klatts must risk everything to track down the person responsible. Their investigation takes them deep into the criminal underworld of their seemingly sleepy suburb. Will their desperate fight for the truth save her—or drag her even deeper into chaos? And can they uncover the truth about that fateful day before it’s too late?

The second season of WHERE’S WANDA? is a Produced by UFA Fiction, a Fremantle company, with Royal Television Society nominee Oliver Lansley (FLACK) serving as creator, writer, and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Nataly Kudiabor (ARTHUR’S LAW) and Oliver Ossege (HELGOLAND 513). The series is based on a story by Zoltan Spirandelli (VAYA CON DIOS – AND LEAD US INTO TEMPTATION), who serves as co-creator. It is directed by the award-winning and critically acclaimed filmmakers Tobi Baumann (FAKING HITLER) and Christian Ditter (HOW TO BE SINGLE).
