Friedrich (29)

Daniel (33)

Region: North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Rhine
Farm: Bull fattening farm
Hobbies: Shooting club, soccer

Daniel lives on the farm in the Rhineland with his father (62) and grandmother (90). The farm has been in the family since the 19th century, so Daniel was “born into farming”. The trained agronomist looks after 100 bulls and cultivates 35 hectares of arable land and grassland, where he mainly grows barley and maize. An important part of Daniel’s life is his twin brother Stefan, who lives just ten kilometers away with his girlfriend and whom he meets as often as he can. Otherwise, the 33-year-old spends his free time at the local shooting club or playing soccer. Daniel has been single for over two years and hopes to finally find the love of his life. His dream woman should be humorous, loyal, self-confident and open to new things. If she also had an interest in farming, that would be “the jackpot” for Daniel.

Friedrich (29)

Region: North Rhine-Westphalia, Soest district
Farm: Arable farming
Hobbies: triathlon, tennis, soccer, volleyball

Between horses and asparagus, arable farmer Friedrich is hoping for the love of his life. Together with his family, he grows wheat, barley, triticale, field beans and maize as well as green asparagus. The 29-year-old attaches great importance to sustainability, the use of photovoltaic systems and the health of the soil. In addition to farming, Friedrich is also very active in sport. He is a passionate triathlete – so he regularly trains for cycling, swimming and running. If there is still time, he plays tennis, football and volleyball. The 29-year-old would like to start a family with his dream woman at some point, also so that he can pass the farm on to his children in the traditional way. His partner should be self-confident, be able to “tell him what to do”, have an interest in agriculture and politics, but also be loving, animal-loving and have a good sense of humor.

Johann (60)
Johann (60)

Simone (55)

Region: Saarland
Farm: Gnadenhof
Hobbies: campfire, pop songs

Simone has fulfilled her personal dream in Germany’s smallest federal state. The animal-loving 55-year-old has been running a sanctuary for ten years. Together with many volunteers, she lovingly looks after horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, two dogs and a cat. Her farm means a lot to Simone, because: “All animals have a right to a happy life.” The 1.70 meter tall woman from Saarland works full-time in geriatric care. In her free time, Simone loves to end her evening around the campfire. But she has been alone for over 2 years. Simone is now hoping to find a partner who, like her, is a pop music fan, not too thin, not too fat and has a strong character with whom she can spend romantic hours together: “There is still so much space in my heart and I would like to give it to my dream man.”

Johann (60)

Region: Lower Saxony, Middle Weser
Farm: cattle breeding, arable farming
Hobbies: Picnic, motorcycle

Cattle farmer Johann lives with his son Jan-Niklas (21) on a tranquil farm on the Weser. Here, the 60-year-old looks after 40 head of cattle, 2 cows and 29 chickens. He also grows maize, rye, barley, oats and triticale. It is very important to the early riser that his animals are doing well. That’s why he sometimes sings them a song. Johann grew up with farming and loves: “freshly tapped milk.” The man from Lower Saxony enjoys spending his free time in the countryside, loves picnics and going on excursions on his motorcycle “Susi”. But Johann doesn’t enjoy doing all this alone. Johann’s wife passed away a year ago. She wanted him to apply for “Bauer sucht Frau” so that he wouldn’t be alone. The 60-year-old is now ready again and hopes to find a loving wife: “Who will see the sun through the clouds with me and make my heart leap again.”

Whether he’s distilling schnapps with Grandpa Karl (86), organizing festivals or sowing new crops in the fields, there’s never a dull moment with the trained agronomist!

Torsten lives with his parents Renate (74) and Friedhelm (79) on a fattening bull farm in North Rhine-Westphalia. The main farmer takes care of 50 fattening bulls and 30 chickens as well as 20 hectares of grassland and arable land. In his free time, the 52-year-old enjoys swimming, going to the sauna or meeting up with friends for a barbecue. Torsten also likes to cozy up in front of the fireplace.

Patrick, the country bachelor in record mode

Farmer Patrick has received so many requests that he has set a new record! On a boat on Lake Constance, presenter Inka Bause introduces the six candidates Patrick has chosen.

“This year, many things may be different than usual. But what remains is the longing for great love,” says Inka Bause at the start of the 16th BAUER SUCHT FRAU season. The barn party could not take place due to the coronavirus pandemic. “Of course it’s unusual that we have to start this year without the legendary barn party. I regret this just as much as my farmers. For them, getting together, getting to know each other and celebrating is an important and wonderful highlight. Friendships for life are often formed there. But then I went to almost all the farmers and brought them their letters or the chosen ones to the farm. The free Inca love delivery service, so to speak!”

A farmer in record mode

Inka Jungbauer also personally broke the news to Patrick that he had set a new record: “In sixteen seasons, no one has ever received as many applications as you!” From all the letters, Patrick invited six women to meet him in person on a boat on beautiful Lake Constance. After an initial meeting and subsequent one-on-one dates, Patrick has to decide who he wants to spend the farm week with.

Sunflowers instead of roses

“I cut six fresh sunflowers this morning. I’ve been thinking that every woman I actually invite to the farm week will receive a sunflower from me,” says Patrick’s plan. “The country bachelor, so to speak,” comments Inka Bause on his idea. In the end, the cattle farmer has made his choice and appears before the women with three sunflowers. Who will the attractive young farmer invite to the farm week? One thing is already clear: all six women are on fire for him after just a few hours!

RTL will show 9 episodes from Monday, October 26, 2020 at 8:15 pm.

Broadcast: 26.10.2020 – 21.12.2020

Fall is feel-good time, but our farmers are lonely – for now. Now Inka Bause is once again taking the happiness of eleven lonely farmers into her own hands. From Monday, October 14, 2019, 8:15 pm, RTL will broadcast the 15th season of BAUER SUCHT FRAU. In eight episodes, the successful TV romance with Inka Bause accompanies eleven farmers who are embarking on a romantic search for true love this year. The men get to know their chosen ladies at the traditional barn party, then it’s off to a farm week together. One thing is certain: whether they are cattle or alpaca breeders, horse farm owners or organic farmers, they all hope to finally be struck by Cupid’s arrow on BAUER SUCHT FRAU.

After the call broadcast on Whit Monday, interested women applied for the featured farmers. The farmers were then allowed to choose which women they would like to meet in person at the traditional barn party in the summer. Inka Bause will now introduce her chosen women to the farmers and after a few hours of getting to know each other, a decision has to be made: Which farmer will invite which woman – or perhaps even several – to their home for the farm week? And what happens next? Will there be big feelings when living together in the countryside or will there be no butterflies in the stomach?

From October 13, 2014, RTL will present the tenth season of BAUER SUCHT FRAU with Inka Bause and ten new farmers who want to embark on the romantic search for true love this year.

For nine years, the RTL hit has been a source of great emotions and happy couples: to date, more than 25 happy couples have found each other, and love has already been sealed at the altar a dozen times. And as if all that wasn’t success enough, seven children crown the impressive track record of Germany’s successful TV romance with presenter Inka Bause. This year’s special feature: with Günther from South Tyrol and Peter from Portugal, two foreign farmers are taking part in the tenth season. “BAUERSUCHTFRAU is becoming more and more international,” says a delighted Inka Bause, taking stock after nine seasons: “I’m really proud and very happy to be part of BAUER SUCHT FRAU. Who would have thought back then that the show would become such a hit?

To mark the anniversary, RTL will be showing the special “10 Jahre BAUER SUCHT FRAU – Das große Jubiläum” on December 22 at 8:15 p.m., in which the most popular farmers from all seasons will be reunited for the first time. Inka Bause will also present the highlights and best moments of the successful TV romance in two best-of shows at Christmas: On Christmas Day, Inka Bause will celebrate “10 years of BAUER SUCHT FRAU – The most iconic moments” from 7:05 p.m., and on Boxing Day it will be “10 years of BAUER SUCHT FRAU – The most romantic moments” from 7:05 p.m. on RTL.
