In April, our UFA Show & Factual productions provide pure emotion, music and entertainment! From spectacular goosebump moments in DSDS and HITSTER to touching stories in BAUER SUCHT FRAU – April has it all.

These are our TV highlights:

BAUER SUCHT FRAU starts with two special episodes: On Good Friday, April 3 at 7:05 pm, RTL will show the special BAUER SUCHT FRAU – GERALD & ANNA: GOODBYE NAMIBIA, in which the popular couple is accompanied on their big move to Poland. An emotional chapter full of farewells, courage and new beginnings. Just a few days later, on Easter Monday, April 6 at 7:05 pm, we will take a look at current developments on German farms in BAUER SUCHT FRAU – WAS IST AUF DEN HÖFEN LOS? Who is fighting for their relationship, who has reoriented themselves and who is still happily in a relationship?

Music fans can look forward to the 22nd season of DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR, which starts on April 4 at 8:15 p.m. on RTL and in advance on RTL+. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, the stage will be cleared for new candidates who want to impress with strong voices and emotional moments. The first live show will take place in Cologne on April 28, where the talents will show what they can do in front of a large audience. For the first time in the history of DSDS, DSDS REALITY will be shown exclusively on RTL+ from April 21. For ten episodes, the candidates will be accompanied in their daily life in a shared flat and undergo intensive training in singing, dancing, performance and stage presence. A must for all DSDS fans!

WHO KNEW? on Ersten Monday to Friday at 6 p.m. tests the knowledge of our team captains Bernhard Hoëcker and Wotan Wilke Möhring as well as prominent studio guests. In addition to the regular episodes, there will be a brand new XXL edition on Saturday, April 11 at 8:15 pm. This time it will feature “Tatort” stars Harald Krassnitzer and Dietmar Bär, comedians Ilka Bessin and Kaya Yanar as well as pop singer Vincent Gross and actress Palina Rojinski.

Our music quiz show HITSTER is brand new to the program: from 12 April at 19:05 on RTL, celebrity duos will put their musical memory to the test. The task: to correctly classify hits from different decades on a timeline – with nostalgia, fun and goosebumps.

HARTZ UND HERZLICH on RTLZWEI tells authentic stories from everyday life in Germany’s cities from Monday to Friday at 6:05 pm – respectful, up close and without a script. In SAG DIE WAHRHEIT, three candidates claim to be one and the same person, but only one of them tells the truth. You can see whether the celebrity guessing team exposes the impostors every Monday at 22:00 on SWR.
