Great songs, great voices, great decisions: Under the motto “Iconic Sounds”, the second live show of DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR turned into a thrilling semi-final on RTL on Saturday evening. Hosted by Laura Wontorra, the eight best singers gave their all to impress with their performances and battled it out for the coveted tickets to the final. The jury led by Dieter Bohlen, Bushido and Isi Glück judged the performances, but the viewers decided who would make it through to the grand final by telephone and SMS voting.

In the target group of 14 to 59-year-olds, the show achieved a strong 10.3 percent market share and secured primetime victory among the private broadcasters at 8:15 pm. Among 14 to 49-year-olds, the figure was also a strong 10.5 percent. A total of 1.54 million viewers aged 3 and over tuned in to the RTL cult show (MA: 9.2%), with up to 2.00 million viewers at the peak. DSDS thus improved significantly in all three target groups compared to the last editions.

Now it’s time for the decisive round: the remaining five singing talents will compete in the grand final next Saturday, May 9, at 8:15 p.m. Who will be “Germany’s Superstar” 2026?
