Berlin/Cologne, June 26, 2025: Under the powerful motto “STAY VISIBLE! STAY LOUD! Our strong voice for diversity!”, UFA is once again actively participating in this year’s Christopher Street Day (CSD) demonstrations in Cologne and Berlin. As one of the leading production companies for TV and streaming in German-speaking countries, UFA is sending a clear signal for diversity, equality and social cohesion.

Sascha Schwingel, CEO UFA: “Diversity is not a trend for us, but a core value of our corporate culture. By participating in the CSD, we not only want to show solidarity, but also actively contribute to the visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community. A big thank you goes to our be.queer team for their tireless commitment – not only on the occasion of the CSD, but also every day in our company!”

Together with other Bertelsmann companies and the Bertelsmann employee network be.queer, UFA will be represented with its own float and numerous employees who will stand together for an open, respectful and inclusive society. In addition to its presence on the streets, UFA will also use its digital channels to promote the topic of diversity and accompany the demonstrations in Cologne and Berlin.

The CSD demonstrations take place in Cologne on July 6 and in Berlin on July 26 and are among the largest Pride events in Europe.

Participation in CSD is an integral part of UFA and an expression of our corporate culture. For many years, UFA has been actively committed to an inclusive work environment that recognizes and supports people in their diversity – regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, origin or lifestyle. The cooperation with the Bertelsmann employee network be.queer also strengthens this commitment across the Bertelsmann Group.

UFA remains loud, visible and committed – for a society in which everyone can live freely and safely.
