The official preview of the new season of DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR took place yesterday afternoon at the Monkey Bar in the 25hours Hotel The Circle. Invited guests and representatives of the press were given the exclusive opportunity to see the first images of the 22nd season in advance.

The weather was perfect and the atmosphere was exuberant, not just for celebrating together, but also to increase anticipation for the new season.

The managing directors of UFA Show & Factual, Vanessa Schmit and Sascha Rustmeier, opened the screening and thanked the entire DSDS team for their tireless work and passion for the format. Afterwards, Executive Producer Alexander Seelinger (UFA) and Executive Producer Anna Katharina Kurz (RTL) gave a brief preview of the new content for the upcoming season.

Numerous well-known personalities from the DSDS world and beyond accepted the invitation: In addition to former contestants such as Lisa Bund, Menderes, Davin Herbrüggen, Daniel Lopes and Mehrzad Marashi, actors from our daily series ALLES WAS ZÄHLT and UNTER UNS, including Lars Steinhöfel, Suri Abbassi and Shaolyn Fernandez, musicians such as Milano and Ikke Hüftgold, and reality personalities such as Umut Tekin, Sandra Sicora, Marvin Kleinen and Josh Stanley, also took part in the event. A very special highlight: Isi Glück, who is part of this year’s jury, also attended the DSDS preview in Cologne.

The preview offered a promising foretaste of the upcoming episodes and made it clear that the new DSDS season is in the starting blocks and promises the best entertainment.

DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR starts on April 4 at 8:15 p.m. on RTL and in advance on RTL+. The brand-new DSDS REALITY will be available exclusively on RTL+ from April 21.
