Potsdam, January 31, 2026 – Prime Video and UFA Fiction celebrated the premiere of the new Prime Original film at the CINENOVA cinema in Cologne on Friday evening, January 30, to mark the upcoming release of FABIAN AND THE MURDEROUS WEDDING. The cast with Bastian Pastewka, Tamara Romera Ginés, Anton Dreger, Barbara Philipp, Ercan Durmaz, Nicole Beutler, Taneshia Abt, Lena Dörrie, Knud Riepen, Marta Kizyma and Daniel Rodic gathered on the blue carpet in front of the cameras together with director Markus Sehr, host Philip Pratt from Amazon MGM Studios as well as Nataly Kudiabor, Denise Neustadt and Leonie Franziska Geisinger from UFA Fiction.

Numerous other prominent guests, including Annette Frier, Cristina do Rego, Fridolin Sandmeyer, Mido Kotaini, Gisa Flake, Leander Sacher and Björn von Morgenstern, accepted the invitation and did not miss the exclusive screening of the exciting murder mystery film.

The Prime Original film, produced by UFA Fiction in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, will be released exclusively on Prime Video on February 6, 2026.

FABIAN AND THE MURDEROUS WEDDING is a production of UFA Fiction in cooperation with Amazon MGM Studios Germany for Prime Video. The movie was directed by Markus Sehr. Nataly Kudiabor and Denise Neustadt act as producers, executive producer is Leonie Franziska Geisinger. The screenplay was written by Martin Eigler, Lars Neuwöhner and Sven S. Poser, with additional screenplay contributions from Judy Horney.
