Guido Reinhardt, producer of UFA Serial Drama, has been involved from the very beginning. He has played a key role in shaping the popular daily: “30 years of family, friendship, neighborhood: that’s considerably more than half a working life and anything but work. It also means passion, dedication, but also great respect with and for all the people in front of and behind the camera with whom I have been able to experience this journey,” praises Guido Reinhardt. The series has given both its employees and its fans a feeling of coming home for three decades. “Being part of Schillerallee means never being alone,” the producer continues.

This is what the 30th anniversary is all about: Margot Weigel appears to her great-granddaughter Cecilia in a dream. She is initially taken completely by surprise. After all, her grandmother died a few years ago. In her dream, Margot tells her to follow in the footsteps of her life – and to go on a journey through time. When Cecilia wakes up, she is a little skeptical at first. After all, it was just a dream. Nevertheless, she decides to accept her great-grandmother’s mission. What could she not have known at the time? At the end of her journey, she will uncover a well-kept secret of the Weigels that could rewrite the history of her family.

The UNTER UNS event week (episodes 7241-7245) provides a real adrenaline kick again this year! In keeping with the motto TRUST ME – I AM YOUR MURDERER, it’s all about life and death. And this much can be revealed: It’s a race against time!

There will once again be plenty to discover, not only excitement and action but also the particularly familiar community feeling of Schillerallee. At the same time, this colorful mix of different emotions and humor offers a foretaste of our big anniversary next year: 30 years UNTER UNS.”

Eva Wagner (Claudelle Deckert) has made powerful enemies in the underworld and has gone into hiding. She had to leave her great love Dominic Adams (Jo Weil) behind. Ute Kiefer (Isabell Hertel) is not entirely innocent of this. She now does everything she can to reunite the couple and confides in Jakob Huber (Alexander Milo). But he is playing a dangerous double game and lures evil into Schillerallee. Bomb alert! The residents are in extreme danger and have to take the fight for their lives into their own hands. Explosive ordnance disposal specialist Henry Gerlach (Maxim Agné) is called in to help. A race against time begins: the head of the criminal organization, Hector Mertens, has planted the bomb and intends to detonate it if he doesn’t get Eva extradited…

UNTER UNS was actually supposed to go on air on January 2, 1995, but since ARD announced its series “Verbotene Liebe” at the same time, UNTER UNS was moved up to November 28, 1994 – a major challenge for everyone involved. The well-known series name was initially just a working title, but in the end there was nothing more appropriate and UNTER UNS was chosen. The second-oldest daily series in Germany got off to a strong start and was a real crowd-puller right from the start.

RTL editor Katharina Katzenberger, who has been involved in UNTER UNS since the first episode, remembers the beginning in 1994: “At that time, the production was still based in containers in Hürth, a railroad line ran next to the studio, which interrupted filming from time to time due to passing trains. And because there was no real Internet yet, a courier driver brought the storylines and scripts to RTL in Cologne twice a week.”

Guido Reinhardt, producer of UFA Serial Drama, adds: “In this day and age, it’s a small miracle to be able to celebrate episode 7,000. Who would have thought it? And that we started production completely without a cell phone, unimaginable… But seriously, it takes an absolutely highly motivated team and a marathon-minded willingness to always go the extra mile. The anniversary week and the 7,000th episode in 2022 will give you goosebumps. Sina (Valea Scalabrino) and Bambi Hirschberger (Benjamin Heinrich) are looking forward to their big, but second dream wedding after their divorce a few years ago, which is to be celebrated with the whole of Schillerallee. Newly arrived law student Stella Richter (Bettine Langehein) is swept up in the euphoria, but is suddenly caught up in her past: Her manipulative ex Marcel Geiss (Manuel Klein) also turns up in Schillerallee. To get away from him, Stella had faked her death. But Marcel has tracked Stella down and now threatens Sina with a gun in the middle of the wedding preparations. His perfidious plan: Stella must marry him or he will kill Sina!
