The Amazon Original series MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US, produced by UFA Fiction, is based on the first part “Save Me” of the award-winning bestselling novel trilogy “Maxton Hall” by Mona Kasten. The film was directed by Martin Schreier and Tarek Roehlinger. The main roles are played by Harriet Herbig-Matten as Ruby and Damian Hardung as James. Other roles include Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer and Runa Greiner as Ember.

On April 22, 2024, the world premiere of MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US took place at the Zoo Palast in Berlin with more than 900 guests.
