Potsdam, 9. May 2025. One year after the premiere of the hit series *MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US*, Prime Video is giving fans more glimpses into the highly anticipated second season. Just in time for the anniversary, exclusive photos and a behind-the-scenes video have been released, offering a glimpse of what’s to come: Ruby and James’s story continues in an emotional, dramatic, and even more intense way.

The first season of the series, produced by UFA Fiction, was the most successful international original series in Prime Video’s history and ranked No. 1 on the Prime Video charts in over 120 countries and regions. The second season of MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US is based on “Save You,” the second installment of the bestselling novel series by author Mona Kasten, published by LYX.

In addition to Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten, the cast includes Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, and Eli Riccardi as Elaine are once again part of the series’ cast in Season 2.

MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US Season 2 is a UFA Fiction production, an Original German Series for Prime Video. The producers are Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim, who also serves as the series’ head writer. Valentin Debler returns as producer. Martin Schreier (TRAUMFABRIK) is directing the second season, with Martin Schlecht serving as director of photography. The writers’ room consists of Juliana Lima Dehne and Marlene Melchior. Isabel von Forster is responsible for production design, Gabriela Reumer for costumes, and Nina Haun for casting. The series is funded by the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF).
