Berlin, August 31, 2026. The final chapter begins: Prime Video today confirmed the premiere date for the final season of *MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US*. The gripping story of Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James (Damian Hardung) will finally continue on December 9, 2026! In addition to the teaser poster released today, there will also be a very first sneak peek at the third season—eagerly anticipated by millions of fans worldwide—on September 3.

MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US is the most successful original international scripted series in Prime Video’s history and is available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and regions.

Ruby is on the brink: She’s been suspended from Maxton Hall College, and her dream of attending Oxford is in danger of shattering. With James by her side, she fights to clear her name, but her world is falling apart: friendships are put to the test, and the ugliest truths come to light. In the end, they must decide—hold on or let go?

The third season of the series, produced by UFA Fiction, is based on *Save Us*, the third installment of the bestselling trilogy by author Mona Kasten, published by LYX.

In addition to Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung, the cast includes Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Eidin Jalali as Graham, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Govinda Gabriel as Kesh, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, Eli Riccardi as Elaine, and Dagny Dewath as Ophelia are all returning to the cast.

MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US Season 3 is a UFA Fiction production as a German Original Series for Prime Video. The executive producers are Ceylan Yildirim, Markus Brunnemann, and Eike Adler. The producer is Valentin Debler. Martin Schreier returned as director, with Martin Schlecht serving as director of photography. Sandra Stöckmann and Ceylan Yildirim are the head writers for the third season; additional writers include Catharina Junk, Marlene Melchior, and Aylin Kockler. Isabel von Forster was responsible for production design, Metin Misdik for costumes, and Nina Haun for casting. The series was funded by the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF).
