On „FilmMittwoch im Erste“ it will be exciting again – on December 3 at 8:15 p.m. SCHATTENMORD: UNTER FEINDEN, the new ARD Degeto crime thriller, produced by UFA Fiction, will be shown. The 90-minute film will be available in the ARD Mediathek as early as 1.12. In it, the aspiring chief inspector (Sabrina Amali) asks a young rabbi (Garry Fischmann) for support in a complex and opaque case. What at first seems like a contract killing in the context of organized crime develops into a search for clues full of surprises. Author Raquel Stern – accompanied by an expert team of advisors – attaches great importance to authenticity and milieu sharpness. Dani Levy can be seen in a leading supporting role as the senior public prosecutor.

In addition to Sabrina Amali (WITHOUT A TRACE IN MARSEILLE, JULIA MUST DIE, 4 BLOCKS), Garry Fischmann (SOKO HAMBURG, ALONE AMONG NEIGHBORS) and Dani Levy (ALL ON SUGAR, THE KANGAROO CHRONICLES, TATORT), other roles include Nikolaus Sternfeld, Max Urlacher, Morgane Ferru, Sharon Brauner, Joshua Grothe, Anja Schneider, Hassan Akkouch and Kida Khodr Ramadan.

About the plot: The young inspector Nadirah Abaza (Sabrina Amali) celebrates her first big success: Together with her team, she succeeds in arresting drug lord Ali Sakka (Kida Khodr Ramadan). But shortly afterwards, her mentor, senior prosecutor Frank Leuw (Dani Levy), is murdered. Together with her colleague Erik Stoibel (Nikolaus Sternfeld), she faces a delicate test – and the question of which of Leuw’s opponents is behind the crime. A first lead leads to Sakka’s entourage, who had openly announced retaliation when he was arrested. When evidence disappears and parallels to an unsolved murder case emerge, Nadirah increasingly relies on the help of Rabbi Samuel Rivkin (Garry Fischmann), a close friend of the victim. His analytical acuity proves to be a valuable addition to Nadirah’s criminal flair. But the investigations soon push both of them to their limits – and in mortal danger.

SCHATTENMORD – UNTER FEINDDEN is a UFA Fiction production commissioned by ARD Degeto Film for ARD. The film was directed by Damir Lukačević. Co-director is Raquel Stern, who also wrote the screenplay. The camera was directed by Jörg Widmer. The producer is Dr. Kristina Henning. The editorial support at ARD Degeto Film is taken over by Birgit Titze and Christoph Pellander.
