It’s hard to believe, but in 2027 it will actually be a proud 25 years since DSDS first flickered across the TV screen in 2002. Naturally, this needs to be celebrated. DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR goes into a new season in 2027 and celebrates its 25th anniversary at the same time. To coincide with this, there will be a MEGA surprise next year.

Even before the new 2026 superstar has been found, one thing is already certain: there will also be a new season of DSDS in 2027. It remains to be seen who will sing their way into the jury’s hearts. But not who will be on the jury. We can already announce that now. There will be a repeat round.

In 2027, Dieter Bohlen, Isi Glück and Bushido will once again go in search of a superstar. Dieter Bohlen is already full of anticipation and makes a direct appeal to everyone to apply: “Apply and check it out, because if you never try out, people, how will you know? So give yourself a chance!” Juror Isi can only agree: “DSDS is simply not over yet. There are far too many moments and dreams in it for that.”

THEY fight for the DSDS victory in 2026

Before DSDS 2027 continues, one last decision will be made on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The viewers will then decide which of the Top 5 will become Germany’s new superstar. Before the final evening really gets underway, Paco Simic and Abii Faizan will compete against each other in a showdown duel. The viewers will then choose their new “Superstar 2026” from just four candidates at the end of the evening.
