The Klatts (Axel Stein and Heike Makatsch) are back! To prove her innocence and keep from losing her again, the Klatts must risk everything to track down the person responsible. Their investigation takes them deep into the criminal underworld of their seemingly sleepy suburb. Will their desperate fight for the truth save her—or drag her even deeper into chaos? And can they uncover the truth about that fateful day before it’s too late?

The second season of WHERE’S WANDA? is produced by UFA Fiction, a Fremantle company, with Royal Television Society-nominated Oliver Lansley (FLACK) serving as creator, writer, and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Nataly Kudiabor (ARTHUR’S LAW) and Oliver Ossege (HELGOLAND 513). The series is based on a story by Zoltan Spirandelli (VAYA CON DIOS – AND LEAD US INTO TEMPTATION), who serves as co-creator. It is directed by the award-winning and critically acclaimed filmmakers Tobi Baumann (FAKING HITLER) and Christian Ditter (HOW TO BE SINGLE).
Season 1
WHERE’S WANDA? starts worldwide on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 with the first two episodes, followed by another episode every Wednesday until November 13, 2024 on Apple TV+.
The eight-part dark comedy has a top-class cast including Heike Makatsch, Axel Stein, Lea Drinda, Leo Simon, Nikeata Thompson, Palina Rojinski, Kostja Ullmann and Harriet Herbig-Matten. Other roles include Devid Striesow, Jasmin Shakeri and Joachim Król.

WHERE’S WANDA? tells the story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt (Axel Stein and Heike Makatsch), who are desperately searching for their daughter Wanda (Lea Drinda), who disappeared without a trace months ago. Because the police fail to act, the family takes matters into their own hands and, with the help of their tech-savvy son Ole (Leo Simon), obtains surveillance equipment. Disguised as employees of an electrical company, they first bug their neighborhood and then half the suburb. It turns out that their neighbors behind closed doors are not who they claim to be.

The series is based on a story written by him. It was directed by award-winning and critically acclaimed filmmakers Christian Ditter, Tobi Baumann and Facundo Scalerandi. Ditter also acts as executive producer.
