Synopsis: German vacationer Simon Lemberger (Felix Klare) makes a momentous decision in the south of France when he helps a young woman in distress. When Simon takes Nathalie (Jasna Fritzi Bauer), a refugee from Paris, into his vacation home, he gets into trouble, and not just because his girlfriend Kristina suddenly wants to surprise him with a visit. A brutal girl-smuggling ring is after Nathalie, relentlessly hunting down her boyfriend Jerome (Frederick Lau), who has gone into hiding, as well as any confidants. The young man has helped a girl kidnapped from Bulgaria to escape. Paris inspector Rosarde (Jeanette Hain) and her team follow the bloody trail of the human trafficking ring. The brutal murder of Kristina makes it clear that Simon and Nathalie’s lives are also in danger.

The screenplay was written by Andreas Linke based on the novel of the same name by Charlotte Link, with Friederike Heß directing the camera. Filming took place in Marseille and the surrounding area as well as Sofia and Paris.
