The big anniversary edition of WER WEISS DENN SOWAS XXL with Kai Pflaume, Wotan Wilke Möhring and Bernhard Hoëcker

It sparkles and twinkles when presenter Kai Pflaume presents a particularly glamorous and extra-long anniversary edition of his successful quiz show WER WEISS DENN SOWAS? shortly before the turn of the year.

To mark the show’s 10th anniversary, the two guessing foxes Bernhard Hoëcker and Wotan Wilke Möhring will of course be going the extra mile to support their celebrity co-stars on WER WEISS DENN SOWAS XXL on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 8:15 pm. Pop titan Dieter Bohlen, Austrian actor Tobias Moretti, actress Mariele Millowitsch and the host of “ZDF heute-show” Oliver Welke are among the guests announced for the anniversary.

Elton celebrates too!

Elton has played as team captain alongside the celebrity guessing foxes for over 1000 episodes. In the big anniversary edition, the guessing roulette can now take a seat for the first time as a guest on “Who knows Studio?” for the first time. Together with his eternal opponent Bernhard Hoëcker, Elton will try to earn his place in the final. Will he benefit from his record of around 15,000 questions played with just as many baffling answers?

It remains exciting to see what brand new riddles the editors have come up with for the anniversary edition of the show. Some of the answers will once again be solved with amazing live experiments directly in the studio and, of course, unusual animal guests will also play an important role this time.

As a special highlight, the live band “Heavytones” will provide musical support for the WER WEISS DENN SOWAS XXL anniversary.

In three exciting and entertaining rounds, the celebrities will once again compete for cash for their supporters among the viewers who have previously bet on the correct winning team. The winnings will be shared out at the end of each round. In the final, the winners of the first three rounds compete to win 50,000 euros for a good cause.
