In the “BayernQuiz”, seven candidates from the seven administrative districts of Bavaria put their knowledge to the test. The quiz champion was determined in the grand finale. Markus Othmer – known from the Bayern 3 morning show and as the presenter of Blickpunkt Sport on Bavarian television – had planned a few surprises for the candidates and prepared various quiz rounds with different challenges.

Of course, a good general education was important, but from round 2 onwards, the focus was on local knowledge, giving the candidates the additional opportunity to use strategy and speed to beat their competitors. According to the motto “only cash is king”, the seven candidates won cash prizes that had to be defended until the grand finale.
