RUCK ZUCK (original title)

UFA SHOW & FACTUAL GmbH • Show • RTL plus

RUCK ZUCK is also going into the next round. From Monday, October 9, RTLplus will be showing the popular classic show at 7:25 pm. The game show will be presented by Oliver Geissen: “When I wasn’t working in television myself, I always watched and loved RUCK ZUCK, so I’m really looking forward to presenting the game show.”

In RUCK ZUCK, two teams of five players compete against each other and put their team spirit, eloquence, speed and tactical skills to the test in four main rounds and a final. The players in the two teams have to take it in turns to paraphrase and guess everyday terms without naming specific words or repeating key words – and all in just 40 seconds! The candidates wear headphones so that they cannot hear their predecessor explaining the term. If a keyword is mentioned twice or the guessing time of 40 seconds is exceeded, the round is over. Now it’s the opposing team’s turn.

The team that scores the most points over four rounds reaches the final, the losing team is eliminated. The final again consists of three bonus rounds in which correctly guessed terms earn money. Regardless of whether a team masters the final, it will compete as champion against new challengers in the next edition of RUCK ZUCK and can play again for a place in the final. A team can enter a final round a maximum of six times. If they manage to guess all the terms correctly the sixth time in the final bonus round, the players are guaranteed the main prize. A team can win a maximum of 2,400 euros per show in the final. If a team manages to reach the final six times, it plays for the maximum prize of 30,000 euros. If the 30,000 euros are won, all previous winnings are forfeited.

RUCK ZUCK is a production of UFA SHOW & FACTUAL and will run every Monday through Friday from 7:25 p.m. starting October 9.
