Star Search was a casting show on SAT1 that was broadcast from 2003 to 2004. The search was for music acts up to the age of 15, music acts aged 16 and over, models and comedians.

The first season in Germany in 2003 was hosted by Kai Pflaume and the jury consisted of pop singer Jeanette Biedermann, presenter Hugo Egon Balder, model Alexandra Kamp and a different guest judge for each show.

Winner:

Music Act under 15 years – Daniel Siegert

Music act over 16 years – Martin Kesici

Comedian – Ingo Oschmann

Model – Maureen Sauter

Not much had changed in the second season. The show was hosted by Kai Pflaume and the jury consisted of the previous year’s winner Martin Kesici, presenter Hugo Egon Balder, model Alexandra Kamp – later replaced by Eva Padberg – and a different guest judge for each show.
