Pure nostalgia! UFA Show & Factual looks back on the 40th anniversary of the 80s cult film series “Die Supernasen” with the big anniversary show 40 JAHRE SUPERNASEN – MIT MIKE KRÜGER & THOMAS GOTTSCHALK on RTL. As the title suggests, the main actors of the time, Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger, will of course not be missing.

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 8:15 p.m., RTL will host the big party with lots of live music from the 1980s, funny gags and activities such as “The Super Nose Quiz” or “Proverbs Bingo” as well as some surprises for the two jubilarians. Also on board: celebrity guests, numerous companions and young Supernasen fans.

Mike Krüger and Thomas Gottschalk hijack the frequencies of RTL radio stations – and RTL shows the spectacle on TV. On Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 00:00, the two grab their van from the Supernasen cult film “Piratensender Powerplay” to produce a radio show. They talk freely about the films, music and the 80s and play their favorite songs, classics from back then and hits from today. For the first time, the two are back on the radio microphone together.

The first “Supernasen” film with Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger in the leading roles, “Piratensender Powerplay”, was released on January 14, 1982. This was followed by three more films (“Die Supernasen” (1983), “Zwei Nasen tanken Super” (1984) and “Die Einsteiger” (1985)), all of which were box office hits in German cinemas in the 1980s. 40 years later, the films are still cult and will be available to stream on RTL+ from July 1, 2022.
