Nataly Kudiabor started her career at MedienGruppe RTL. This was soon followed by positions at RTL II, ARD Degeto, Ziegler Film and Grundy UFA.
As head of development and producer, she then headed the Berlin office of ndF, neue deutsche Filmgesellschaft, for eleven years.
From 2015 to 2018, Kudiabor was managing director of the production company good friends and led the company to success within a few years. The most notable developments were the award-winning comedy noir series ARTHUR’S LAW (TNT & also broadcast on HBO Max) and the German adaptation of the Swedish series BONUS FAMILY (ARD).
ARTHUR’S LAW was nominated for the German Television and Grimme Awards and won the prize for Best International Comedy Series at the Rockie Awards in Banff, Canada. Lead actor Jan-Josef Liefers received the Blue Panther in 2019.
She has been working as a producer for UFA Fiction since May 2019 and as Managing Director since 2022.
The series ALL YOU NEED (ARD Mediathek) and THE MOPES (TNT, also broadcast on HBO Max) were very well received by critics and audiences. The director of ALL YOU NEED – Season 1 was nominated for the Bunte New Faces Award 2021. THE MOPES was awarded the Audience Award of the Grimme Prize 2022.
In 2022, her romantic comedy DIE LIEBESKÜMMERER (Netflix) was completed and nominated for Best Foreign Language Film 2024 by the National Film Awards.
Nataly Kudiabor is one of the producers of the first German-language series on Apple TV+ WHERE’S WANDA?
Her current projects are the highly acclaimed neighborhood series MARZAHN MON AMOUR (ARD Mediathek), based on the bestseller by Katja Oskamp, and FABIAN UND DIE MÖRDERISCHE HOCHZEIT for Prime Video, which will be launched on the streaming service next winter.
Nataly Kudiabor is a member of the European Film Academy and the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
