KÖLNER TREFF brings together people with very different experiences and life stories who would often never have met in everyday life.

This leads to special moments, an entertaining exchange or completely new and surprising insights and the best entertainment.

Susan Link and Micky Beisenherz present a special KÖLNER TREFF on June 10, 2026 (recording), in which our guests talk about their very personal and often very touching relationships with animals – from comfort in difficult times to life-changing encounters.

Among others, Stefanie Hertel, who as an ambassador for the German Animal Welfare Association also talks about rescuing a dog in Greece, Andrea Sawatzki, who has been committed to helping dogs from animal shelters and killing stations for years, and Malte Zierden, who became an animal rights activist after meeting an injured urban pigeon. The evening will be complemented by practical insights and tips from dog trainer Ellen Marquez.

An emotional, entertaining evening with exciting people and a few friendly animals.

KÖLNER TREFF is a production of WDR in cooperation with FLOW media Köln GmbH. Tickets are allocated on behalf of UFA SHOW & FACTUAL GmbH.
