On June 22 and 23, the first match days in the pilot project for the new sports league will take place at the STRASSENKICKER BASE, Poldi’s sports and event location in Cologne-Mühlheim. Newly founded teams such as the Dark Wolves Cologne and the Indigo Wildcats Düsseldorf will meet in the disciplines of Headis, Roundnet, 3×3 Basketball and Floorball. Each city provides a selection team with professionals from each of the four sports.

While you support your team, the Sports Bar offers you everything a fan’s heart desires. In addition to delicious snacks, ice cream and beer, Lukas Podolski’s famous kebab is also available.

Two sports are played in tournament mode on each day of the event. You can cheer on the teams from the stands. There will be a break between the two tournaments, during which Lukas Podolski’s famous kebab will be available alongside tasty snacks, ice cream and beer.

June 22, 2022: 3×3 Basketball and Roundnet

June 23, 2022: Headis and floorball

3×3 – With 12 seconds of attack time, 3 against 3 compete in a basketball game. Play continues immediately after each hit, making the game particularly dynamic. The selection of professional players promises an exciting competition!

Every rally must take place over the round net on the floor. Even faster and more exciting than volleyball, extremely long and very short moves, responsiveness and precision – that describes the trend sport of roundnet.

No soccer pitch free, but the table tennis table instead – René Wegner invented the sport of Headis out of necessity: “table soccer with your head” involves spectacular rallies, sometimes meters away from the table, a saving jump to the ground or even onto the table. What sounds crazy is pure excitement.

Floorball is a variant of field hockey in which fair play is a top priority. Two teams of four people compete against each other in this fast-paced sport.

The 3-G rule is expected to apply to visits to the venue.

• Presentation of a certificate of complete vaccination (at least 14 days old) or
• an official valid certificate of recovery or a positive PCR test that is at least 28 days and no more than 90 days old at the time of the event (“recovery”); the reference period for the applicable deadlines is the date of the event or
• Presentation of a negative test certificate (current on the day). An official antigen test is required (self-tests are not sufficient)!

We will inform you about the additional Covid-19 protection restrictions that apply on site before the start of the event.

Important: Please note that the access requirements may change at any time due to the development of the Covid-19 situation. We therefore reserve the right to adapt the access restrictions to the current situation at any time, including tightening them if necessary, without this giving rise to any claims on your part.

It is currently mandatory to wear an FFP2 mask outside your pitch. Access without an FFP2 mask is not permitted (even if exempted by a certificate). The mask can be removed on site.
