Six-part series (idea & script: Ipek Zübert, director: Christian Zübert) with Nora Tschirner and Roel Dirven in the leading roles starts on May 11 at 8:15 pm.

Sex, Drugs & The Mopes: When “Monika” (Nora Tschirner) bursts into the life of musician Mat (Roel Dirven; HET HUIS ANUBIS), he tries everything to get rid of her – apart from accepting that she is his depression personified. The dramedy from the pen of Ipek Zübert (BRUDER – SCHWARZE MACHT; DREIVIERTELMOND) accompanies Mat on his journey and for the first time also tells the perspective of a mental illness. TNT Comedy will premiere the six half-hour episodes every Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. starting May 11.

In addition to Nora Tschirner (TATORT), Kathrin Angerer (GUNDERMANN) as a panic disorder, David Bredin (ARTHURS GESETZ), Anna Brüggemann (NÖ; MITTEN IN DEUTSCHLAND: NSU), Jennifer Ulrich (DIGNITY, DIE WELLE) and Matthias Matschke (PASTEWKA) as a post-traumatic stress disorder give a face to mental illness. Other roles were played by Gina Henkel (GUT GEGEN NORDWIND), Paula Kalenberg (SYSTEMFEHLER – WENN INGE TANZT), Ugur Kaya (DAS INSTITUT – OASE DES SCHEITERNS), Adina Vetter (FRAU JORDAN STELLT GLEICH), Anton von Lucke (BABYLON BERLIN) and Sebastian Schwarz (ANDERE ELTERN) in front of the camera of Philipp Kirsamer (OH BOY; THE INSTITUTE – OASIS OF FAILURE). The film was directed by Christian Zübert (ARTHURS GESETZ; BAD BANKS).
