For GZSZ fans and all newcomers, the new year starts with a spin-off highlight: On January 11, 2023 at 8:15 pm, RTL will be showing LEON – KÄMPF UM DEINE LIEBE, the feature film sequel to the UFA serial drama production about Leon Moreno, played by Daniel Fehlow. At his side will once again be Susan Sideropoulos as Sarah, who celebrated her big comeback in the GZSZ cosmos last year and also announced her and Daniel Fehlow’s return to GZSZ at the beginning of January.
The feature film has been available on RTL+ since January 4, one week before it is broadcast on RTL.
This is what LEON – KÄMPF UM DEINE LIEBE is about: While Leon and Sarah are planning their wedding, a surprise is just around the corner! Jan, Sarah’s brother who disappeared 30 years ago, returns to Engelshoop. But as much as Leon wishes her family happiness, something makes him doubt Sarah’s brother. This leads to a heated argument between Sarah and Leon, even jeopardizing their future together and putting Leon’s life in danger. Why does Jan really reappear after such a long time? Who can Sarah trust?
New to the cast of the Leon sequel are actor Daniel Roesner (as Jan) and Sarah Hannemann (as Jan’s girlfriend Michelle), both of whom are well-known from ALARM FOR COBRA 11. Also returning from the first season are Kathrin Osterode (as Elli), Frederic Heidorn (as Conny) and Joey Altmann (as Oskar).
Daniel Fehlow was seen as Leon Moreno in GOOD TIMES, BAD TIMES for a good quarter of a century until he got his spin-off LEON – GLAUB NICHT ALLES, WAS DU SIEHST on January 31, 2022. The sequel is also being produced by UFA Serial Drama. The producer of LEON – KÄMPF UM DEINE LIEBE is Annette Herre, the producer is Claudia Danne. The screenplay was written by Nina Blum.
