Following the huge success of DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR, DSDS KIDS was the first original for children in 2012. Here, kids with big voices have the unique opportunity to prove their singing talent.

In the first season of DSDS K IDS, the big dreams of the very young talents came true. Especially for ten-year-old Marco from Rainau, the first winner of DSDS KIDS.

In the final of DSDS KIDS on May 25, 2012, ten children showed their best once again and sang their way to victory. They were not only supported by the jury members Dieter Bohlen, Michelle Hunziker and Dana Schweiger, but also by the top 10 contestants of this year’s DSDS season.

With his version of the Metallica hit “Nothing else matters”, Marco received the most calls from the audience and was awarded an educational scholarship for the future and prize money, which he can use to fulfill a wish for his school and his classmates.
