30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, UFA SHOW & FACTUAL and ProSieben get to the bottom of the clichés surrounding “Wessis” and “Ossis” with the documentary DAS #OSTWESTDING – GEBOREN AM 9. NOVEMBER.

Nudism in the East and prudery in the West? The clichés about “Wessi” and “Ossi” persist to this day. For the documentary DAS #OSTWESTDING – GEBOREN AM 9. NOVEMBER, the UFA SHOW & FACTUAL camera teams followed seven young Berliners over a period of six months. They are all united by their birthday: November 9, the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Six celebrities also address the question of what significance this “East-West thing” had and still has today. What do Axel Schulz and rapper Massiv think about why East-West relationships are still a rarity among German couples?
