Potsdam, April 24, 2024. Yesterday, the German original series *MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US* celebrated its world premiere in Berlin. All six episodes will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide starting May 9. Produced by UFA Fiction, the series is based on the award-winning best-selling novel “Save Me” by author Mona Kasten.

The series’ cast and crew gathered at the Zoo Palast with more than 900 guests and fans from 19 countries to watch the first two episodes of *MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US* together. Among the guests on the Blue Carpet were James Farrell, VP of International Originals at Amazon MGM Studios, Philip Pratt, Head of German Originals at Amazon MGM Studios for Prime Video; Markus Brunnemann, Managing Director of UFA Fiction and producer; and Ceylan Yildirim, producer at UFA Fiction; as well as cast members Harriet Herbig-Matten, Damian Hardung, Justus Riesner, Sonja Weißer, Andrea Guo, Runa Greiner, Clelia Sarto, and Martin Neuhaus, as well as numerous celebrity guests, including the evening’s host, Melissa Khalaj, Tim Oliver Schultz, Malick Bauer, Paula Essam, Ivy Quainoo, Joshua Seelenbinder, Kristin Suckow, and other celebrities, as well as numerous well-known influencers such as Fabian Reese, Celine Bethmann, Evelyn Weigert, David Martin, Niklas van Lipzig, Georg Listing, Adrian Vogt, and Sandra Safiulov. Afterward, the world premiere was celebrated in the Orangery at Charlottenburg Palace.

MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US is a UFA Fiction production, an Original German Series for Prime Video. The producers are Ceylan Yildirim and Markus Brunnemann. Valentin Debler is a producer. Martin Schreier (TRAUMFABRIK) and Tarek Roehlinger (EIN AUSNAHMEZUSTAND) directed the series. Daphne Ferraro is the head writer. The writers’ room consisted of Marc Schießer, Marlene Melchior, Zoe Hagen, Nina Rathke, Anna Schimrigk, and Juliana Lima Dehne. Christof Wahl served as director of photography. Isabel von Forster was responsible for production design, Gabriela Reumer for costumes, and Patrick Dreikauss and Emrah Ertem for casting. The series is funded by the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF).
