Potsdam, December 22, 2025: When one Advent calendar door closes, another opens: Inez Bjørg David as Liv also experiences this in the romantic Christmas comedy VIELLEICHT WEIHNACHTEN (AT). Just once, she wants to step out of the daily grind and go on vacation with her husband Anton and son Basti. A wish that Anton, played by Leo Reisinger, is unable to fulfill, even just before Christmas. Because working in his father Franz’s (Christian Tramitz) mountain hut keeps the whole family busy 24/7 – with no prospect of improvement. And because Anton can’t even manage a small gift such as an Advent calendar, Liv sets an example and moves in with her friend Sigi (Tanja Hirner). A sign that Anton understands: he tries to win Liv back with an Advent calendar he has made himself – and hides something very special behind the first door: a time-out for Liv on Fuerteventura. But he hadn’t planned on Liv liking it better there than in the hut at home – and a celebration together seems to be moving further and further away between “Feliz Navidad” and “Merry Christmas”, between self-discovery on the Canary Islands and heteronomy on the Bavarian peaks …

Hanno Olderdissen directed the romantic Christmas comedy based on a screenplay by Tommy Wosch. In addition to Inez Bjørg David as Liv Wimmer, Leo Reisinger as Anton Wimmer, Emilio Reisinger as Basti Wimmer, Christian Tramitz as Franz Wimmer and Michaela May as Gerdi, David Rott, Mona Pirzad, Andreja Schneider, Tanja Hirner and many others also appeared in front of Carol Burandt von Kameke’s camera. Filming in Munich, at Spitzingsee and on Fuerteventura lasted until mid-December 2025.

VIELLEICHT WEIHNACHTEN (AT) is a production by UFA Fiction (producer: Tommy Wosch, producer: Julia Franke) on behalf of ARD Degeto Film (editors: Johanna Kraus, Stefan Kruppa) for the ARD program “Endlich Freitag im Ersten”.
