Potsdam, December 18, 2025: No sooner had the 100th episode celebrated its anniversary than the EIN STARKES TEAM team was already back on set. And viewers won’t have to wait long either: on Saturday, January 10, 2026, the new episode of THE LAST VICTIM will air on ZDF at 8:15 p.m. and will be available a week in advance on the ZDF website and app. All information about the episode description, the episode roles and more can be found here.

The 106th episode NOTWEHR (AT) was shot in November, and filming for the 107th episode KOPFGELD (AT) continued in Berlin and the surrounding area until mid-December.

Chief inspectors Linett Wachow (Stefanie Stappenbeck) and Otto Garber (Florian Martens) are once again actively supported in their cases by inspector Nils Makowski (Lucas Reiber), team leader Reddemann (Arnfried Lerche), forensic pathologist Dr. Gabriele Simkeit (Eva Sixt) and Sputnik (Jaecki Schwarz).

EMERGENCY (AT): As Detective Linett Wachow investigates the surroundings of a crime scene where the body of a jogger was found, the feeling of a person present in an abandoned warehouse catches her attention. Linett thinks she hears a gun and fires a shot herself. The stranger lies dead on the ground, but there is no trace of a weapon. Has Linett made a terrible mistake? An internal investigation is launched, but Linett’s closest colleagues, detectives Otto Garber and Nils Makowski, are convinced of her innocence. The strong team plunges into the investigation. The dead jogger’s sportswear was apparently just a disguise; before her death, she was mainly interested in a food truck company called “Food Box”. The detectives are immersed in a case of tax evasion and money laundering. Manon Straché, Lorris Andre Blazejewski, Johannes Allmayer, Hassan Akkouch, Julia-Maria Köhler, Adrian Topol, Katja Weitzenböck and others can be seen in the episode roles.

KOPFGELD (AT): Lawyer Roloff is found murdered. His cleaner, Katrin Siepmann, inadvertently becomes the only witness. The strong team is called to the crime scene – where Otto and Linett meet senior public prosecutor Geiges, who believes the case is clear-cut: The murderer is Boris Langenscheid, a criminal she has long wanted to convict of money laundering – so far without success. But one murder would change everything. In fact, Katrin Siepmann identifies Langenscheid as the perpetrator. Five months later, he is on trial – and she is the only witness against him. However, when an attempt to convict her fails, it is clear that she is in acute danger. As there is apparently a mole within the police force, Geiges instructs Otto and Linett to bring Katrin and her daughter to safety. The team is able to put them up in the remote guesthouse of Steffen Riemers, an old acquaintance of Otto. Franziska Wulf is joined by Milla Martens, Thorsten Merten, Bea Brocks, Sebastian Klein, Antonio Wannek, Rana Farahani, Ingraban von Stolzmann, Timo Jacobs, Ben Hartmann, Jonathan Fölster and others.

EIN STARKES TEAM is a ZDF commissioned production by UFA Fiction, produced by Simon Müller-Elmau, executive producer is Vanessa Richter. The screenplay for NOTWEHR (AT) was written by Timo Berndt. The book for the 107th episode, KOPFGELD (AT), was written by Leo P. Ard. Sven Fehrensen directed both films and Henning Jessel was the cinematographer. Matthias Pfeifer is the ZDF editor.
