Casting director Nina Haun (e.g. “Silent Friend”, “Where’s Wanda?”, “Charité”, “Der Upir”, “Triangle of Sadness” (Casting Germany), “25 km/h”, “Kư’Damm”, “Toni Erdmann”) initiated the young talent casting in 2008 and has been responsible for it ever since.

In November 2025, the graduates will once again be able to present themselves in person at Babelsberg, where they will be photographed by Joachim Gern and cast live by Nina Haun and her team.

Fortunately, numerous young actors were cast in a wide variety of productions directly afterwards or in subsequent years.

The invitations for the casting will be sent out by UFA.
It is not possible to apply for the young talent casting.
