How can I apply for the Author Bootcamp? Toggle

Anyone aged 21 and over can apply.

Very good written and spoken German and a great interest in our daily formats are required.

Basic dramaturgical knowledge and initial writing experience are desirable.

You should apply with a letter of motivation “Why do you really want to write for a daily series” and a current CV.

The letter of motivation should be limited to two DinA4 pages in font size 11-12.

Please refrain from sending your own ideas.

When does the boot camp start and end? Toggle

The boot camp runs from 27.10.2025 to 07.11.2025 and takes place all day from Monday to Friday in presence.

What can I expect? Toggle

Experienced instructors will teach you practical content and then your writing talent will be in demand. You will read storylines and continue to plot and write an episode on an ongoing basis. Subsidized food and free drinks are provided. You should bring your own writing utensils and a laptop. And don’t worry: we don’t organize boring lectures. There will be lots of discussion and practice and your cooperation is always welcome.

How much does the boot camp cost? Toggle

The bootcamp is free of charge for you and we will pay you the minimum wage.

However, you should be based in the greater Berlin area to ensure your presence during the bootcamp as well as for a possible employment afterwards.

Will I be taken on after the boot camp? Toggle

There is a demand for storyliners (all genders) and we subsequently offer a trainee position in one of our story teamsHowever, we do not guarantee that you will be taken on. If you are not taken on by us, you can also apply to other TV production companies. We also maintain a pool of writers, so it is not impossible that we will make you an offer at a later date.
