Best season ever: BAUER SUCHT FRAU sets new records in its 22nd season on ATV

The UFA production BAUER SUCHT FRAU thrilled audiences on the streaming platform JOYN and on ATV TV, breaking all records.

The 22nd season of the hit format, which ended on Wednesday, achieved an average market share of 20.5% in Austria (E12-49 | +45% vs. season 21) and an average of 310,000 viewers (E12+ | +15% vs. season 21). In the young target group, the market share increased to 21% (E12-29 | +57% vs. season 21). The 22nd season celebrated its all-time high on December 3, 2025 with a 25% market share (E12-49) and 367,000 viewers (E12+) on average, making it ATV’s strongest in-house production of all time. A total of 4 million Austrians (WSK 12+) watched the love adventures of the two farmers’ wives and 13 farmers in season 22.

On JOYN, BAUER SUCHT FRAU is currently the most popular format with a watch time of 247 million minutes (+12% vs. season 21) and 6.4 million video views (+10% vs. season 21).
