“heute-show” comedian Fabian Köster presents a new kind of knowledge game show on NDR television and in the ARD media library: DAS FIFTY-FIFTY QUIZ

The show impresses with its dynamic, visually innovative game concept and combines knowledge, thinking outside the box, strategy and speed. Three celebrity teams, each consisting of two stars, take on this challenge in each show. They have to match questions falling from top to bottom to the correct answer either to the left or to the right before the questions touch the floor.

Fabian Köster: “I’ve been asking questions for a long time – but finally I’m getting some answers! I love quiz shows – and have often been a contestant on Kai Pflaume or Esther Sedlaczek. So I’m all the more looking forward to my premiere as quizmaster on NDR.

Finally some completely new experiences and faces! In the first episode, for example, I welcome my boss Oliver Welke from the “heute-show”…Oh.

To kick off DAS FIFTY-FIFTY QUIZ, Fabian Köster will be joined by Oliver Welke and his “heute-show” colleague Lutz van der Horst. Michael Kessler, Laura Karasek, Bodo Wartke, Jens Riewa, Michael Thürnau and Zora Klipp will be among those competing in the next editions.

The show is based on the successful BBC quiz “The Answer Run”. Five episodes are initially planned, each 45 minutes long. Production in Hamburg will be handled by BBC Studios.
