WHO OFFERS MORE? That is the central question in the new show of the same name with Kai Pflaume on NDR television. The highlight: the candidates present real treasures – a rare vintage car, an original by Salvador Dalí or a soccer signed by Sepp Maier, Franz Beckenbauer, Berti Vogts and many other 1974 World Cup heroes. The candidates are faced with the exciting task of finding the best offer for their object.

These offers come from four equally genuine experts with a real interest in buying, who are located in four different rooms. How many offers the candidates obtain, which ones they accept and how high they gamble is their decision – a question of nerves of steel. Those who speculate go home without a penny and keep their property.

What makes this treasure so unique? How did the candidate come into possession of it and why does he/she now want to part with it? Presenter Kai Pflaume talks to the candidates about their extraordinary stories when he brings them together with the experts.

The experts can estimate the value of the items at first glance and are prepared to put a fortune on the table. They conduct negotiations with comprehensive know-how and expertise, as well as a gut feeling. The candidates decide in which order they visit the experts. Once a candidate has entered the first room, the negotiation for the price of their property begins. The offer can be accepted or rejected. If it is not accepted, there is no going back – as soon as a candidate leaves the room, the offer expires and they have to face the next expert. The experts do not find out from each other which offers were made previously.
