In the VOX docu-soap Help, my husband is a do-it-yourselfer! is all about men who have been doing DIY at home for years. They renovate for all they’re worth – or at least try to. Because they never finish. Their wives and children live on a building site, are totally annoyed and their relationship is on the rocks. Presenter Thorsten Schorn wants to put an end to the chaos and confronts the men at work, in front of their colleagues, with their “DIY sins”. Together with Thorsten’s construction team, the home is now to be spruced up – and hopefully the relationship too. But both will only work if the landlords join in!
