The third season of The Greatest Swiss Talents starts on SRF on February 21, 2015. Viola Tami will host the show. This year’s jury includes Gilbert Gress, Christa Rigozzi, DJ BoBo and Sven Epiney. In nine casting episodes, which were recorded in Zurich in December 2014, the jury will be looking for the semi-finalists, who will compete for a place in the final from March 28, 2015.

After the great success of the first two seasons of The Greatest Swiss Talents (DGST), SRF is now looking for the country’s greatest entertainment talents for the third time. The winner will receive prize money of CHF 100,000.

Who will follow in the footsteps of DGST favorites such as Eliane Müller or Nina Burri? Whether singers, dancers, musicians, acrobats, comedians or other exceptional talents – they all try to convince the jury.

DGST schedule
As the jury was expanded from three to four places, the candidates needed three out of four jury votes at the auditions in Theater 11 in Zurich to be shortlisted for the semi-finals. Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen will be showing the recordings of the auditions and the jury’s decision in the first nine episodes from February 21, 2015, on Saturdays and Wednesdays on SRF 1. Following the last casting episode, the jury will select the semi-finalists who will take part in the live shows in Kreuzlingen.

Straight to the semi-finals thanks to the golden buzzer
The golden buzzer is a new instrument at DGST that allows the jury to send outstanding talents straight to the semi-finals. However, each judge may only press the golden buzzer once.

Semi-finals and final
Ten candidates compete in each of the first two live shows (semi-finals). The TV viewers rate them by text message and phone calls. Five candidates from each semi-final will make it through to the grand final on Saturday, April 11, 2015, where the Swiss TV audience alone will decide who will be the country’s greatest entertainment talent.

The greatest Swiss talents enters the next round! After a successful third season, the family show on SRF will enter its fourth season with a new jury on February 20, 2016.

The jury must be credible, competent and entertaining and be able to decide in a short space of time what potential the performing candidates have – the four new jurors complement each other perfectly and ensure exciting and entertaining assessments. The new jury now consists of Susanne Kunz, presenter, Jonny Fischer, comedian, Gilbert Gress, football coach and Bligg, who has been the undisputed leader in music for many years!
The fourth season will be hosted by Viola Tami. What’s new this year is that Viola can also actively take part in the action: she can press the golden buzzer once to send a talent straight through to the semi-finals.
