Fame, fame and success – good reasons to take part in a reality dating format as a candidate. For Juna, who takes part in the fictitious show “Find me @ the beach”, which is the focus of AFTERGLOW – ALLES NUR SHOW?, the real rollercoaster ride of emotions only begins after the show and back in reality. Torn between private happiness and deceitful publicity, she finds herself in a conflict of loyalties that drives her to the brink of despair. The other contestants also have to deal with the consequences of their participation in the show. What is it like to play with the feelings of others in order to keep up appearances? The series was filmed in Munich and Mallorca in fall 2021 and produced by Hashtag Daily, a label of UFA Serial Drama. The producer is Lisa Hochhausen alongside showrunner Anna Juliana Jaenner, who also plays the lead role of Juna.
