Cologne, 03.06.2026. The second season of STRANDKINDER has got off to a successful start: since May 10, a new episode has been released every Sunday on the official STRANDKINDER YouTube channel. Six of the seven episodes are already online and once again show the familiar faces from season one as they go about their everyday lives on the beach in Warnemünde. One thing is certain: viewers can look forward to a big season finale on June 7 with a beach concert by rapper Marteria.
The real-life documentary STRANDKINDER, developed and produced by UFA Show & Factual in collaboration with A19.me, follows the lives of the protagonists in northern Germany in an authentic and approachable way. Once again, the clique around the WAL Bar, the influencers Kimi and Ronny, beach chair renter Uli and jetboard renter Erik are featured – and their very own stories of everyday life by the sea.
The finale of the second season focuses on an extraordinary event: episode 7 shows the preparations and impressions surrounding the free Marteria concert, which took place on the beach in Warnemünde on August 28, 2025. More than 15,000 people came together to celebrate this special highlight. The evening had great personal significance for Marteria himself, as he announced his new album “Zum Glück in die Zukunft III” with the concert in his home region.
And right in the middle of it all: our beach kids. We accompany Juli behind the bar, meet Uli and Komang and show how our protagonists experience this special concert. Episode 7 is not only a look behind the scenes of an extraordinary event, but also the emotional finale of the second season.
This episode also closes a special circle for UFA Show & Factual: Marteria, the artist whose song “Strandkind” gave the real-life documentary its name, takes center stage for the first time.
STRANDKINDER is a production and in-house development of UFA Show & Factual in cooperation with A19.me.
