How FRAG MICH WAS LEICHTERES works!

Two teams compete against each other: A team of three viewers against the show’s trio of experts consisting of “Brisant” presenter Marwa Eldessouky, “Tagesschau” spokesperson Jens Riewa and “Mr. Allwissend” Ralph Caspers, known from “Quarks” and “Die Sendung mit der Maus”. The team of viewers consists of three candidates who know each other – be they family members, colleagues, friends, students or classmates.

Each episode features a total of twelve questions from the four categories ‘Brisant’, ‘Tagesschau’, ‘Alles, was man wissen sollte’ and the ‘Super-Kategorie’. In each round, one of the three viewer candidates competes against the respective celebrity expert in the category. The ‘Super Category’, which changes every day, is brought along by the three viewer candidates and thus surprises the trio of experts time and time again – from
Greek mythology and gardening to winter sports, astronomy and 90s music.

Three questions are played in each category – difficult/tricky/easy – always starting with the most difficult question. The correct answer to the difficult question earns 1,000 euros, the correct answer to a moderately difficult question earns 750 euros and the easy question earns 500 euros. But beware: if the question is too difficult, you can simply pass it on to the opposing player in the hope that he or she will not know the answer.
The aim is to earn as much money as possible for the final by combining the right answers with tactically appropriate question-sliding, which can then be doubled in the final.

If the audience candidate team wins the show, they can not only look forward to the prize money, but can also compete again in the following shows until they are defeated by the expert trio. If, on the other hand, the Expert:innen team wins the show, the money goes into the jackpot, which the team of viewers in the next show has another chance to win.
