Each episode tells the story of a couple who have a stylistic cohabitation problem. They can’t agree on certain parts of the interior and get into a fight. They get help from the interior design expert duo Resi and Guido, who want to solve the living problem and thus also the relationship problem.

When two people move in together, different tastes often come together. And, as we all know, there’s nothing better to argue about than taste. The relationship crises that different tastes can cause can be seen up close every day in furniture stores. But now help is on the way in the form of home expert duo Resi & Guido: with OUR BEAUTIFUL COMMON HOME, RTL Daytime now also offers couples therapy!

The beloved vase collection, the floral sofa and the 70s lamp from the flea market – things that are dear to one of you suddenly become a trouble spot when you move in with your partner: “Dust catchers”, “embarrassing” and “oll”, says HE. Instead, he has built his wall unit in the living room – a real “monster”, says SHE. The house is a mess – and yet they had imagined living together so harmoniously before the move! The quarrelling couple now get help from interior design experts Resi and Guido. They provide objective “living assistance”, mediate in finding a compromise and give a particularly relationship-disrupting problem area in the stressed couple’s home a new coat of paint.

And with their help, a problem corner is transformed from a crisis zone into a cuddle zone and hopefully becomes the impetus for the couple to tackle further housing problems together in the future in a compromise and sustainable way.

The home experts:
Resi (33), interior decorator, interior design consultant & store owner (“Miss Minty”). Resi has been part of the “Zuhause im Glück” team at RTL II since 2016 (interior and furnishing design as well as moderation). She likes to sew and refurbish furniture herself and loves decorating.
Guido (48), set designer and outfitter. He has TV experience as a set designer behind the camera and as an interior design professional in front of the camera (“Hilfe mein Mann ist Heimwerker”, VOX and “Fashion & Fame”, ProSieben).
