Every second marriage ends in divorce, the number of single households is increasing and the term “life partner” has become established. Nevertheless, many people dream of true love and want to find their partner for life. But it’s hard on the singles market, it’s hard to fall in love.

On September 1, 2010, eight singles took their fate into their own hands and presented themselves to the public on ATV. They had had enough of being alone and wanted to finally find the love of their lives. People with a story, people with character, people who stand out from the crowd are the focus of this format. In the opening episode, they presented themselves, their lives, their stories, their hobbies and everything that makes them special. Naturally, they hoped to receive many, many letters. Because from these they then choose their dates and ultimately the two people with whom they will spend a week of their lives. And who knows, maybe their dreams will come true!
