The quiz show SAG DIE WAHRHEIT, produced by UFA SHOW & FACTUAL, makes the leap to the main program! Das Erste shows 14 episodes with presenter Michael Antwerpes every Friday at 6:50 pm.

The rules of the game: In the first three rounds of the game, three candidates claim to be one and the same person with a special characteristic, an unusual hobby or a very special profession. In the fourth round, there are only two candidates left. But the tricky task for the guessing team, which consists of five celebrities, always remains the same: They have to find out who is telling the truth and expose the cunning con artists by asking clever questions and following up. In addition to Kim Fisher, Pierre M. Krause, Ursula Cantieni and Smudo, the actress Natalia Wörner, her acting colleague Hannes Jaenicke, the cabaret artist Lisa Fitz and “Tagesschau” chief speaker Jan Hofer, among others, put their detective instincts to the test.

In the first editions of the panel show, for example, the guessing team has to unmask an escape artist and a pickpocket. Not an easy task, because what does a “typical” escape artist look like? Can you recognize the criminal energy of a pickpocket from their gestures and facial expressions? Once the liars are unmasked, the audience is treated to a breathtaking performance in which the escape artist has to free himself in a spectacular way. And when the pickpocket is at work, the guessing team should keep a close eye on their valuables.
