With ROLLING – DAS QUIZ MIT DER MÜNZE, UFA Show & Factual, part of the Fremantle Group, is producing a new daily quiz show for SAT.1. The show will start on May 10, 2021, every Monday to Friday at 6 p.m. on SAT.1. The new quiz show will be hosted by Ross Antony.

ROLLING – THE QUIZ WITH THE COIN, the most unpredictable quiz game show of all time, where rolling a coin is the difference between winning and losing.

Three contestants are each assigned a celebrity game partner, who provides them with advice and support and with whom they play together for the respective amounts of money. At the center of the show is a giant arcade game in which a large coin is rolled onto a game board to determine how much each question is worth. If the question is answered correctly, the previously determined monetary value is credited to the account. But be careful: if the coin lands on one of the event fields, the game can take an unexpected turn at any time, as bankruptcy or the opportunity to plunder your opponent’s account may be waiting.

The pair of contestants who have won the most money after 15 varied questions will go through to the grand final. In the final, the aim is to secure the money earned and take it home – or lose it all. First, the finalists play their way to the best possible starting position by answering correctly. Then the final dramatic roll of the coin decides whether they win or lose the money. ROLLING – DAS QUIZ MIT DER MÜNZE is based on the Fremantle format “Rolling In It!” (developed by Over The Top Productions), which is already a great success as a weekly show in the UK. UFA Show & Factual has adapted the show as a daily quiz for SAT.1. The episodes will be recorded in Cologne-Ossendorf from April 2021.
