This is Shiri, 30, actress, almost single, living in Berlin – and broke. Her last audition fell through, the love of her life is gone and she’s lost her embarrassing mini-job. A really shitty day. But it’s not over yet. When she waits tables at the police chief’s garden party and her (ex-)boyfriend is arrested with 500 ecstasy pills, her run of bad luck ends at the police station. And this one damn question changes her whole life: “How much do you love your boyfriend?” Unfortunately, very much.
The rebel with the loose mouth and the big heart, who looks like she is just 16 years old, is offered the role of a lifetime by the police of all people: Shiri is to be infiltrated into an elite school as an undercover investigator and bust a dealer ring there. If she succeeds, her ex, Jonas, will go free. Shiri’s first impulse: “I’m definitely not going to be a Stasi informer at some fucked-up school.” But that changes when she realizes that everything is at stake. Jonas has no one but her. She doesn’t know if he’s guilty. It doesn’t matter either. Her life makes no sense without him.
