In the first round, the quick guessing round, they each had to answer one question in turn.

In the second round, the candidates could then call on each other to answer the questions. Then it came down to knowledge, tactics and a good dose of luck, because it was not for nothing:
Everyone against everyone. Anyone who answered incorrectly three times was eliminated and lost their money to the other players.

The last three candidates moved on to the final round. By calling out to the other players, each tried to eliminate the others and steal their money. The person who won the final round had won DM 5,000 by then. The winner now had to undergo a crossfire of questions until the end of the game. For every correct answer, 100 DM were added to his account, but were also deducted again for incorrect answers.

The next day, the champion competed again against nine new players to defend his title.
