Half bald, eating fresh wasabi or throwing baskets of basketball-sized cacti: If you don’t know the answer to presenter Jochen Schropp’s questions, you’ll be put through hell! In the ProSieben quiz game show HIMMEL ODER HÖLLE (Heaven or Hell), the contestants have to answer the questions: Half-knowledge can really hurt. Some of the contestants literally went through hell at the end of the show… HIMMEL ODER HÖLLE is a development and production of UFA SHOW & FACTUAL.

How the show works
Presenter Jochen Schropp asks the contestants questions with four possible answers at the top of the two-storey show studio in “heaven”. If the contestant is not sure, they can take the path of suffering via “hell”. Down there, Evelyn Weigert awaits with devilish tasks. Anyone who accepts and passes the challenge has made it to the winning stage and can answer the next “Heaven” question. There is a total of up to 50,000 euros to be won in ten rounds. The contestants can drop out at any time and go home with the money they have won. What are the players risking a fat lip for? What are wax games worth? And how far will you go for 50,000 euros?
