Time for a breath of fresh air in the dating game! The dating show DEIN STAR – DEIN DATE – PROMINENT VERKUPPELT, produced by UFA SHOW & FACTUAL, will be broadcast for the first time at the beginning of 2024. In the show, three celebrity duos, including celebrities such as Thomas Herrmanns, Susan Sideropoulos, Marijke Amado and Janine Kunze, will put their matchmaking skills to the test – with the aim of catapulting a lonely single into seventh heaven. Which celebrity duo will successfully matchmake their protégé and claim victory will be shown from January 7 to February 11, 2024, every Sunday from 16:30 to 18:30 on SAT1.

How the new dome show works

In a total of six completed episodes, a single person searches for the perfect match. This is where the three celebrity duos come into play. One after the other, they have the opportunity to interview the single to be matched: What should the dream partner look like? What job and hobbies should he:she pursue? What about the desire to have children? What life goals should he:she pursue?

After the celebrities have sounded out exactly what this single is looking for, the speed dating follows: each celebrity duo chooses their favorite from 15 singles they did not know beforehand. Each celebrity duo enters the competition with a single, with whom they vie for the heart of the person to be matched in dates. So that the celebrity duos can coach their protégé properly, they can watch every date via livestream – and even intervene if things go really wrong! Whoever impresses the single the least after the first few dates has to leave – and one celebrity duo is eliminated. The final will then show which celebrity duo hits the bull’s eye with their choice and wins the match.
