Potsdam, October 20, 2025 : UFA is realigning its management structure and will focus even more strongly on transformation and strategic development in the future. To this end, the position of Chief of Staff and Transformation Officer has been created, which will be taken over by Christian Rohde with immediate effect. At the same time, Rohde will be appointed to the management board of UFA GmbH. In this position, Rohde will be responsible for central organizational and operational tasks and will focus on the further development of the organization and the design of sustainable processes. In this role, he will report directly to Sascha Schwingel, CEO of UFA. Natalie Clausen, the company’s previous COO, is leaving the company at her own request and returning to Netflix as Director Production DACH.

Christian Rohde is an experienced producer and strategic thinker with deep roots in the German film and television industry. After studying production at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, he began his career at teamWorx in 2000, where he was responsible for numerous ambitious film and series productions. From 2010 to 2016, he was Managing Director of Magic Flight Film before moving to UFA Fiction. There he was responsible for productions such as DIE DIPLOMATIN and DIE INFORMANTIN and managed central projects in the area of talent development. Most recently, he worked as a producer at Constantin Film for four years. Rohde has also been a lecturer at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg since 2007 and an honorary professor in the production course since 2017.
